Embryo Recipients
What are the requirements in becoming an embryo donation recipient?
- The female recipient must have medical clearance from their family doctor and/or specialist to proceed with a pregnancy. We are open to working with families who require a surrogate. Some donors may consider recipients who need the services of a surrogate, provided the donor can make an informed decision and is aware of the recipient’s plan. A discussion with agency staff during the consultation will be required.
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Be residing in Canada at the time of the embryo donation
