Costs associated with the Beginnings Embryo Donation Program are payable by the recipient family. There are no costs or fees payable by the donor family. Under no circumstances are embyo donors rewarded financially for donation. Like organ donation, embryo donation is an altruistic and selfless act.

Costs for Embryo Donation are comparable to undergoing in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. However, it is more appropriate to compare costs to a domestic private adoption because the professional services required parallel the rigorous recipient screening process and preparation for on-going open relationships.
