Recognizing that the costs can be an obstacle for some families, Beginnings has established an Adoption Assistance Reserve Fund. Prospective adoptive families are welcome to apply for assistance and are considered on a needs basis. You may also qualify for a designated adoption loan through the City Bank Since February 2007, there is a tax credit (up to $10,000) for adoption expenses on your income taxes. Check with an accountant or tax specialist regarding how this is applied.
