How much does an adoption cost?

The average cost of an adoption through Beginnings is $12,000 - $14,000. Costs may exceed this amount depending on the complexity of the case. Most of the cost is incurred once a match has been made. Initial costs are as follows:
• PRIDE Training - $1400 per couple / $700 per person
• Registration Fee - $150
• Consultation - $300
• Maintenance on Active List - $250
