Beginnings is a non-profit, Christian-supported agency established in the Hamilton area in 1985. We are a private adoption agency licensed under the province of Ontario that offers pregnancy counselling and support.

      
Licensing
Beginnings is a non-profit agency, with registered charitable status (CCRA Charitable Reg. No. 11880 2388 RR0001). We are licensed by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services to provide adoption services in Ontario.

Governance
Beginnings is governed by an elected volunteer Board of Directors. Our Executive Director is Kerry Vandergrift, B.A., M.S.W., R.S.W.

Beginnings is a member of Heartbeat International and affiliate members of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities.

Beginnings is a partner organization with Christian Stewardship Services.

Bethany Christian Services is a sister adoption agency in the United States which served as a model when Beginnings was created.
